1) There is no cash refund.
2) If the products are not in good working order within the warranty period, Ashdown Technologies reserves the option to either :
2a. Repair the defective parts or
2b. Replace the defective parts with new, reconditioned, used or similar design products.
The warranty
period is one year from date of purchase for system purchases.
Component sales are covered by a one year warranty unless otherwise
specified. To get warranty
service proof of purchase is required. The warranty is not
transferable. Defective products MUST be returned with
the original
invoice and with the product's
complete original packaging.
3) This warranty does not extend
to
any products that are physically damaged or that are not under normal
operating conditions as a result of any misuse or
improper installation on the
buyer's/user's part.
4) Ashdown Technologies will not
pay for loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use, or property damage
caused by the products or their failure to work, or any
other incidental or consequential
damage.
5) All products remain the property of Ashdown Technologies until full payment has been received.
6) There is no charge for parts or labour for any appointment due to hardware failure for components or systems still within the warranty period.
6a. Any warranty service calls found to be
due to any cause other than hardware failure will be billed at a rate
of not less than $50 per hour (or any part thereof), with a
$50 minimum charge for all calls.
7) All balances owing must be paid to Ashdown Technologies at the completion of each job.
8) Interest will be charged at the rate of 2% per month (26% per year) for all overdue accounts.
9) All data and data backup is
entirely the responsibility of the end user. Ashdown Technologies does
not, and will not, guarantee the safety of data on
any equipment being serviced. Ashdown
Technologies strongly advises all customers to ensure that a current
backup of all data is performed on a regular basis to
ensure the availablility of data in case of
equipment failure.
